How does CVM spend money?

  • Saturday Meetings

Every week we host meetings with food and drink provision for our adults, children and youth. Support allows us to maintain supplies, ensure licenses and music are up to date and that our rent is paid to Heaton Park Methodist Church

  • Events

Throughout the year CVM facilitates and attends events for our community and for the Churches Together movement in Prestwich & Kersal. These include Clough Day, Walk of Witness PA, Parklife Sanctuary Project, DTI, VLG and more.

  • Staff costs

CVM currently employs one person on a part-time basis to run our Kidstuff Compassion Ministry - this enables us to collect, clean and redistribute baby and childrens clothing and prams across the city through referrals from Social Services, Refugee Charities and more…

  • Storehouse (Charity)

We regularly support Storehouse, a charity based in Rawtenstall which places furniture for free with families that have nothing. Our gifts help cover warehouse and transportation costs.

  • Blessing our community

We are a generous church and often support other churches and organisations in the community as we are able to.

  • Gift Aid

If you are a UK tax payer then we are able to make your donations go even further thanks to the government scheme that gives charities like us an extra 25p for every pound donated.

  • VCUKI

As part of Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland we support the bigger movement so that the support and training we receive can continue to be developed and so that more churches can be planted.
